As you would imagine, we were very busy for awhile. We visited all Mom’s Doctors, (there were 3), and we got her three new ones. We held a big garage sale, (we made $1424), we made numerous trips to second-hand stores, and we moved her to our house in Post Falls. Everything went off without a hitch and we all knew that Heavenly Father was blessing our efforts.
After 50 years – Goodbye Missoula!!

It is good to be home!
I’ve been able to see two grandchildren that would have been born while I served the mission, AND I’ve been able to see my oldest grandchild’s baptism! These are priceless experiences and makes me so grateful that we came home early. It’s just too bad Mom had to have a stroke. But as it is, we are glad she is alive and well and we can enjoy family milestones together!

We have been warmly received by our family and friends. The mission was a great experience, and one that blessed our family and our marriage. One big take-away from the mission is our renewed appreciation for the young missionaries –for their purity, hard work, testimonies and diligence.
