You may know someone who has had trouble getting pregnant. The pain and disappointment of childlessness intensifies with each failure or miscarriage. An intensely personal trial, infertility can be very difficult to overcome. Globally, infertility prevalence is estimated at 17.5%.
There are fertility treatments and services that can be accessed in first world countries. However, these treatments take time, are often painful, and are very expensive. To make matters worse, these treatments are not guaranteed. People who use fertility treatments and don’t receive the desired benefits may feel like they are throwing money away. It can be a tear-filled trial of faith.
Then comes the miracle!
Prayer kept my friends, a young couple, diligently seeking for a way forward. After 12 years of accessing modern fertility treatments, they finally received live results. My young friend and her husband are delighted to finally begin their family.
Life is a testing ground and not everyone’s trial is realized in this life. It is important to encourage, uplift and keep seeking the Lord’s will. He is faithful to the end.
