Baptisms!

This past month, our mission president challenged our missionaries to meet, teach and baptize friends that are ready to make a covenant with Heavenly Father. President Cates didn’t have a number in mind. Instead, he challenged every companionship to baptize!

This meant that missionaries challenged their friends to seek answers to Gospel questions through the power of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost testifies of Truth. Many people entered into the waters of baptism having felt the Spirit of Truth in the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Underneath this picture in our office, I posted pictures of baptisms reported to the whole mission via WhatsApp.

Out of 65 companionships in the Mission, every companionship worked very diligently. In total, there were 84 Baptisms!!

It is the Holy Spirit that works on a person’s heart to effect change. Each disciple must choose to use their free agency to act in faith on the testimony they receive. Their testimony of truth will influence their lives, in all their thoughts, actions, and desires. The Holy Ghost is the catalyst for this amazing change of heart!

18 Ask the Father in my name in faith, believing that you shall receive, and you shall have the Holy Ghost, which manifesteth all things which are expedient unto the children of men.
