It seems that even though WE try to be very diligent about it, sometimes we fill out the paperwork incorrectly. A visa can’t be awarded if the information is wrong – and we got an Elder’s name AND his nationality wrong. Unfortunately, this type of error can only be corrected at the main Immigration Center in downtown San José.

It takes time, planning, possibly a lawyer consult, a phone call in Spanish to make an appointment at immigration and – last but not least – a bit of courage to drive through downtown San José to correct the paperwork. Through diligence and patience we can correct our immigration mistakes.

In life, we will make mistakes.
Heavenly Father knew this from the very beginning. That’s why He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to live among us, give us a perfect example, and atone for our sins. As we learn more about the Christ and our purpose on earth, we grow to understand, love, and worship Him.
We can access the power of Christ’s atonement through faith, repentance, baptism and seeking the companionship of the Holy Ghost in our daily lives. These blessings are available to all of God’s children who diligently seek Him.

This young family was baptized this week. The young girl said to the Elder who baptized her – “me siento feliz”. (I am happy) A wonderful consequence of living in harmony with God is happiness and peace.
