marks 6 months on our mission!
When I was 14 I decided to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After 43 years – I’m finally realizing my goal!! Wow! And with my very own Steven as my companion! It really couldn’t get any better than this.
This week we spent Saturday in Esparza – a town much closer to the beach than San José. It is hot and humid, while San José is cool and humid. We wore ourselves out driving around and looking at 7 houses for another Senior Missionary couple who is joining us this month! We are excited to meet them!
I set my Mission goal when I was 14, and that goal blessed my life. It helped me prepare for temple covenants and an eternal companion. Truly, that Mission goal was a good goal — and the Lord will prosper us in our righteous desires.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come…
